24 Hours of Moab
Rick, Max, Jonny and Gabe from Denver raced in the 24 hours of Moab this October. What a fun Time. Here are some pictures…
The Start of the race is a 200 yard run to get to your bike. The wind was blowing about 15 miles per hour with all these runners. Sandy, Sandy Sandy…
The riders running to their bikes
There were about 1300 racers on about 290 teams. There were over 70 riders who rode solo. The Behind the Rock loop is a scenic 15 mile loop. The Race started at 12 Noon on Saturday. It ends after noon on Sunday. You get to finish the lap you are on at noon Sunday. You are not allowed to start another lap.
In the dust my camera quit working so I don’t have any pictures of the course.
This is a picture from our camp spot down to the Start of the course. The course went out and behind that big rock on the horizon. It is on the left of the picture.
