Peter’s Felt Nine Comp
This 2009 Felt 29er features Shimano Hydraulic Disc brakes and an XT drive train. The Tora Fork is a little on the heavy side but has a great dampening setup and rides really nice. This being my first Felt bike I have been very impressed.
The 21.5″ frame is big, even for an extra large. It seems that all of the Felt 29ers seem to run a little big, and I could have gotten away with a 19.5″ but this one fits me alright. For $1199 it is a great value, comparable to most $1400-$1500 bikes from other manufacturers when you look at the components.
